Güler Customs Consultancy Limited (established in 2002) and Dinamik Customs Consultancy Limited (established in 1999) were merged in accordance with Turkish Code of Commerce with the aim of a better service providing standards within European Union Modernized Customs Code and the recent amendments of Turkish Customs Code.
The new company under the name of Güler Dinamik Customs Consultancy Inc. has been providing services to outstanding industrial institutions which most are listed in top thousand companies of Turkey, since January 1, 2010
With its 24 branches and offices in customs terminals of 11 cities, 17 Customs Consultants, 49 Assistant Customs Consultants and 351 employees in total, our company is now amongst the leading Customs Consultancy companies of Turkey.
While in possession of ISO 9001 Quality Certificate, our company started to work on getting ISO 27000 Certificate on information security management system standards and ISO 28000 Certificate, which is the standard of supply-chain management system, in 2011.
Having invested a great deal to Information Technology infrastructure, our company is again amongst the first ones to use the innovations of technology. It simultaneously follows EU Customs and Foreign Trade applications and the improvements of these applications are immediately integrated into our system in accordance with Turkish Customs and Foreign Trade legislation.
The amendments of Modernized Customs Code which were published in EU Official Newspaper on 04.06.2008 will enter into force by 23.06.2013, starting from the date it is published in the Official Newspaper. As a result of these USA originated amendments, the commercial approaches of USA and EU to third countries will completely change and will be mainly focused on security and safety. Within the content of these amendments, there will be precautions such as pre notifications before loading the goods, subjecting the goods to risk analysis and preventing the circulation of goods, failing to meet certain security standards, into the EU, controlling the goods at the first entry point by unloading or controlling the goods at final destination. On the other hand, since all of the transactions will be done in paperless environment and in a simplified way, the administrative burden will be significantly minimized.
The efforts given to reach European Union standards and improving foreign trade of Turkey have brought customs transactions to a very important level. Within this concept, every information, document and account records of companies related to their foreign trade volumes are now being audited in detail by customs. This new system is called Post Clearance Examination.
